Timeout in minutes after which the local servers disconnect inactive clients.
Delay time in milliseconds before a connection is actually closed after a QUIT command.
The settings in this group define various restrictions for the local NNTP (newsserver), POP3 (mailserver for incoming mails), SMTP (mailserver for outgoing mails) and RC (Remote Control) servers.
Max. number of concurrent client connections accepted by the local server.
Max. number of concurrent connections from the same client accepted by the local server.
Limit for the size of a text sent to the local server. If limit is exceeded, the connection is terminated. A value of 0 disables the limit.
Limit for the length of a line sent to the local server. If limit is exceeded, the connection is terminated. A value of 0 disables the limit.
Inactivity timeout (seconds)
Overrides above inactivity timeout per server. Values greater than zero give the number of seconds after which an inactive client is disconnected.
Defines one or more SASL mechanisms (separated by space), which may be used to authenticate a
client on the local POP3 (incoming mails), SMTP (outgoing mails) or RC (Remote
Control) server. If empty, all supported mechanisms are allowed.
Currently supported mechanisms are: CRAM-SHA1 CRAM-MD5 PLAIN LOGIN
Some versions of Netscape/Mozilla need a setting of just LOGIN to work with
authentication.
